“Alex Bulat is a determined, principled and battle-hardened campaigner and Labour loyalist who would give her all if you help select her to fight Huntingdon for Labour.  I first got to know Alex really well in 2019 when she worked night and day for EU citizens in Cambridge and across England. Fighting to defend their human rights and residence here after the Tories created an intentionally hostile environment following Brexit.

I hugely admire Alex for her massive energy and commitment and encouraged her to get more active in Labour politics. Including standing and winning for Labour on the County Council. I could see how passionate and persuasive Alex is, and a supreme campaigner leader too. Alex will always champion the underdog and that's why I support her to become the first ever Labour MP for Huntingdon.

In the 1997 Labour landslide, people said we had no chance in seats we win against the odds. Alex is the best person to give Labour that opportunity in Huntingdon, the best chance to pull off the biggest story on TV on 2024 Election Night and win Huntingdon for Labour - including securing the support of all non-Tories locally."

Lewis Herbert, Labour Leader of Cambridge City Council (2014-2021) and Labour Councillor for 25 years
